Did you miss us? Because we did!
Dearest Gentle Reader (please forgive the cliché),
2025 was that year for us and I am glad you got to be a part of it in so many ways. From launching our very first volunteer cohort to wrapping up the year with the second edition of #Pad100Girls, 2024 was a good year! Before I give a brief account of what we were able to achieve together in 2024, I want you to know that we are taking it up several notches this year. The Her Story Team has been working tirelessly and running on few hours of sleep (literally) to put together all the amazing programs we have for this year and we don’t just want you to benefit, we also want you to take an active part.
We have kicked off 2025 by asking our community members (and others) to take up key spots on our Team through this year’s Volunteer Cohort. We have also called for applications for the Entrepreneurship Incubation Program designed for female business owners. Asides these, we are (finally) launching The Recount Podcast this year, writing and publishing a Comic Book on Gender Based Violence and running the second cohort of our Speaking Club. As you can see, we have A LOT slated for this year and we want you to take active part in bringing these and more to life. Please fill out our 2025 volunteer cohort registration form using the button below.
Now, to our 2024 accomplishments! I am so excited, I do not know where to start. I have linked the mini report that summarizes what we were able to achieve below and I will list them again below for you to see that truly, 2024 was A LOT! Here is what we were able to achieve:
